Our strategies include Absolute Return, Multi-Strategy, Total Portfolio Management, and Public Real Assets.Blackstone’s Global Fund Finance team is seeking a Vice President to oversee the compilation, review and reporting of Net Asset Values for the Blackstone Multi Asset platform. Candidates should have 10+ years of public and private accounting experience. Candidates are expected to exhibit strong technical and analytical skills as well as exceptional communication skills. Candidates should be highly motivated, self-motivated and a team-oriented individual committed to finding creative and innovative solutions who will thrive on challenge in a dynamic environment.ResponsibilitiesReview daily and monthly estimate and final fund NAVsOversee all aspects of fund accounting operations, including NAV reconciliations with third-party administratorsManage offshore resources to ensure accurate and timely preparation of initial NAV reviews and reconciliation filesReview the calculation of and pay management and performance fees in accordance with the funds’ governing documentsReview annual financial statements, investor letters, LP distribution and capital call notifications and BX reporting deliverablesOversee monthly revenue reporting and produce projection modelsManage and lead a team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluationsParticipate in the setup and launch of new products and FundsLiaise with various Finance and Operations teams including Middle Office, Pricing, Financial Reporting, Management Reporting, Legal and ComplianceGuide team members in responding to client and internal requestsDevelop and implement efficient processes and controls to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of fund accounting operationsOversee service providers to achieve superior serviceReview legal documents for fund accounting process considerationsPromote a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging professional development and teamwork among team membersQualifications:BS (or above) in Accounting or Finance10+ years of fund, audit, or administrator experienceKnowledge of private equity and/or hedge fundsCPA preferredExperience in the financial services industry is preferredStrong Excel skills are requiredIn-depth knowledge of fund accounting and operationsAccounting systems experience is strongly preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, management, and cross-functional teamsProven track record of successfully managing a team of fund accountants and delivering high-quality results within strict deadlinesThe duties and responsibilities described here are not exhaustive and additional assignments, duties, or responsibilities may be required of this position.
