We are seeking a Declassification Analyst to support a federal government contract and mission.ResponsibilitiesDirectly support Naval Reactors at NRHQDay-to-day tasking provided by Naval Reactors; priorities established by B&A managementRecognize Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program informationComplete specialized training in E.O. 13526 requirements, the declassification analysis process, use of classification and clarifying guides, recognition of NNPP equities, understanding of information bracketing, following all SOPs, and proper disposition of reviewed documentsComplete training by the Department of Energy and be certified as Historical Records Reviewers (HRRDR) for identifying Restricted Data and Formerly Restricted Data in documents under reviewComplete training by Fluor Marine Propulsion to become certified as a Derivative ClassifierRecognize equities from other agencies and refer documents appropriatelyPerform reviews to a high standard with minimal supervision: Systematic Reviews, FOIA, mandatory Declassification Review, litigation Reviews, referrals Reviews, records Management, go-no-go Reviews, and public Utterance reviewsPerform administrative tasks efficiently: general admin tasks, grading, data collection, researching, program analysis, sorting records, technical work, reviewing training, writing SOPs, and handling document dataEnsure compliance with all applicable policies, guides, and SOPsWork constructively with peers and Naval Reactors on reviewsBuild and maintain relationships with Naval Reactors and other agenciesApply all relevant topics to documentsRead and comprehend complex documents and technical graphsBe open to questions and feedbackAssist with additional work/tasks as assignedRespect and follow room, building, team, and company guidelinesBe flexible with feedback and assignment changesOpen to criticism, contribute ideas, and participate in team discussionsDemonstrate integrity and professional representation of B&AEducation And ExperienceBachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience, or equivalent experience.
