Description The Company Liberty Mutual Investments (LMI) manages Liberty Mutual Insurance Group's (LMIG) global financial assets across markets and private domains to build capital and generate income. The Position Reporting to the Director of Product for Private Credit & Relationship Management within Global Investment Solutions (GIS), this role is responsible for the Relationship Management and DealCloud Product suite. The Product Owner translates business requirements into a product roadmap, owns outcomes and value creation, and collaborates with Scrum teams to implement key capabilities across the investment lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Develop influential relationships with stakeholders, especially in Relationship Management and Portfolio Strategy & Management, serving as a trusted advisor and primary contact for all related matters. Possess advanced knowledge of DealCloud and related CRM systems, with a proven track record of implementation and evolving product capabilities. Demonstrate entrepreneurial mindset, ownership, strategic leadership, and the ability to navigate ambiguity and conflicting priorities. Synthesize business needs with platform strategy to inform and influence the product roadmap. Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and actionable stories. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including demos, planning, and retrospectives. Set priorities, manage stakeholder expectations, and oversee delivery of new features and capabilities. Engage with data governance and champion data implementation efforts. Participate in testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Monitor product health, ensuring long-term viability and balancing costs with outcomes. Analyze feasibility, risks, trade-offs, and other aspects of product changes. Manage relationships with third-party vendors and lead due diligence for new partnerships. Qualifications Expertise in the Deal lifecycle, including investment process, dashboards, tear sheets, and analytics. 10+ years in product management or ownership, with experience in financial services. Strong background in Relationship Management and Private Markets products. Ability to define and execute a clear vision and strategy focused on user value and business outcomes. Exceptional leadership and influence skills, capable of aligning cross-functional teams. Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban at a leadership level. Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification.
