3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsCandidates must have an active Secret clearance and verify, before applying, that you meet the minimum requirements of the position.This position is for an on-site direct support Manpower/Manning Analyst (MMA) at the Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) Dahlgren, Virginia.Direct Support MMAs Are Responsible ForConducting analysis of Naval Directives and Instructions governing manpower policies and procedures.Advising on expected effects of revisions.Developing plans for implementation.Liaising with relevant training and technical specialists of SCSTC, its units, and/or its detachments.Conducting reviews and analysis to develop manpower requirement recommendations supporting training in areas such as:Navy Training Systems Plans (NTSPs)Training Project Plans (TPPs)Training System Installation Plans (TSIPs)Front End Analysis (FEAs)Processing data to support manpower requirements from:My Navy Assignment (MNA)Total Force Manpower Management System (TFMMS)TFMMS OnlineFleet Training Management Planning System (FLTMPS)MMA Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToIdentifying manpower and manning impacts using quantitative and qualitative methods.Applying planning, fact-finding, analysis, and evaluation processes to reach conclusions and prepare recommendations.Responding to inquiries and tasks with comprehensive reports and justifications.Conducting operational program/system analyses to validate manpower impacts.Developing products aligned with JANUS’s MPT Business Unit’s Quality Management standards.Maintaining knowledge of JANUS’s document review processes and platform.Assisting in developing Preliminary Ship/Fleet Manpower Documents (PSMD/PFMD) for new ships/units.Understanding requirements for developing MER, FEA, NTSP, BTP, PSMD/PFMD, CSPP, AMD.Applying analysis elements to support ship-level NTSP terfacing effectively with project offices.Using NAVSEA databases and programs.Performing additional duties as assigned.Required Qualifications And SkillsActive “Secret” security clearance.6+ years’ experience in manpower/manning review, analysis, and reporting or related military/DOD service.Ability to interpret and synthesize source material into concise technical reports.Knowledge of Navy training programs/support systems and U.S. Naval ship systems.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work independently.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Project, Visio, Excel, Word).Ability to learn military terminology.JANUS offers career growth opportunities through training and development, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health, welfare, and financial plans.
