Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$225,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yrOur client, a leading global investment fund specializing in private equity and credit strategies, is seeking a Director of Valuations to join their team. This hybrid position, with four days in the office, offers a rare opportunity to be part of one of the most prestigious PE and Credit platforms in the world. This senior-level role (AVP or VP) will focus on the credit side of the business, excluding asset-based lending, and at the VP level. The firm is open to candidates with experience in traditional equity investments who are eager to transition into credit. You will work alongside a highly skilled valuations team, with peers in both the local office and the PE Valuations team based in Miami.Job FunctionLead the valuation process for private equity and credit investments, including direct, co-investments, and structured credit instruments.Develop and maintain valuation policies and procedures aligned with industry standards (ASC 820, IFRS 13).Coordinate quarterly and annual valuation cycles, including internal reviews and third-party engagements.Partner with investment teams to assess deal structures, performance metrics, and exit scenarios.Present valuation findings to senior leadership and valuation committees.Build and maintain valuation models using DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, maintain documentation, and support audit processes.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.7+ years of experience in valuations, investment banking, private equity, or credit analysis.Deep understanding of valuation methodologies for illiquid assets and complex capital structures.Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.Experience working with fund administrators, auditors, and valuation agents.Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
