Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Client Services Director to establish and lead the US Client Services function. This role combines leadership with direct client engagement to develop the client services strategy, drive operational effectiveness, and deliver high-quality service to key clients, many at C-suite level. You will identify client needs and design and deliver a profitable Scope of Service leveraging Howden's capabilities. About Howden Howden is a collective of talented and passionate people worldwide. Responsibilities Lead and manage the client services team, delivering exceptional service and maintaining strong client relationships. Ensure delivery meets the highest standards using best-practice processes and conduct regular client reviews. Drive service levels in line with agreed client service tools. Act as the senior relationship manager for designated clients and coordinate client relationship management across Howden, building senior-level relationships. Coordinate with the SLT to ensure effective collaboration among Client Management, Broking, and Client Service teams to drive revenue and profit growth. Lead training and development, delivering programs to keep the team up-to-date with industry practices and company policies. Qualifications Extensive client services experience within the Insurance industry. Proven track record in developing relationships and engaging with senior stakeholders. Significant experience in client account management within the insurance industry, with a proven history of leading and managing teams. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. FCII/ACII or equivalent preferred.
