OverviewJoin to apply for the Technology Modernization - Microsoft - Manager role at Grant Thornton (US)The Microsoft Manager leads technical delivery for client digital transformation projects, advising clients and leading teams in integrating the latest Microsoft cloud and modern workplace capabilities to drive significant client value. The role requires a deep understanding of the Microsoft Suite, advisory consulting focus, and partnering with Microsoft. Responsibilities include defining the go-to-market approach, services within that approach, advising the TE/TM team on how to leverage the platform for clients, providing industry-specific expertise, developing external marketing plans, and supporting sales with the platform and its tools across TE. This position is a strategic investment to grow Grant Thornton’s Microsoft capabilities and advisory services.ResponsibilitiesThe applicant MUST have a strong record of success in Consulting and/or Professional services sales/business developmentSuccess selling Financial Systems, Application Managed Services and/or technology related services to the enterprise at the $250 Million to Fortune 1000 revenue levelsWell networked in the Microsoft ecosystemLead Generation - Ability to source, identify and qualify leadsProven track record of solution based selling services at the CXO/VP levelStrong knowledge and understanding of multiple industriesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDesire to collaborate in a team environmentDemonstrated self-motivated, strong work ethic, proactive natureProven track record meeting and exceeding services quotaAbility to use various software programs to produce proposals, reports, presentations, spreadsheets, etc. (MS CRM, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)QualificationsBachelor's degree preferably in Business or related disciplineDirect experience selling Microsoft related servicesImmediate or near-term ability to connect with regional client baseRelationships with Microsoft sales and management field teamsMinimum ten years senior level sales experience in a business-to-business or service industryExperience working within a multidisciplinary professional services firm, preferably public accountingAbility to develop long-standing relationships that lead to a premier positioning of Grant Thornton within a client organizationAbility to conceptualize, articulate and drive successful marketing strategies and plansExperience identifying and developing business opportunities within client organizationsPossesses a high degree of integrity at all times and in all interactionsCommunicates openly and honestly with clients and the Grant Thornton teamConsistently promotes and contributes to an effective team environmentReadiness to travel.
