Job Summary The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) / Senior Medical Science Liaison (Sr. MSL) is a field-facing representative of US Medical Affairs with primary responsibilities including engaging in the exchange of scientific data and medical information with external customers such as healthcare providers, researchers, and professional organizations. The role requires understanding customer needs, issues, and priorities related to Eisai's strategic business plan, and bringing insights from the field on research developments, treatment landscapes, and new medical concepts. The Sr. MSL also plays a leadership role by mentoring new or less experienced MSLs and managing special projects. Essential Functions Product/Therapeutic Area Support: Acting as the primary clinical/scientific resource for healthcare providers, serving as a conduit for scientific information, establishing relationships with KOLs, and supporting professional congresses. Training/Education Resource: Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on disease states, study methodologies, and products; serving as a scientific resource; mentoring colleagues. Research Support: Facilitating review of Investigator-Initiated Studies (IISs), supporting Eisai-sponsored trials, and providing scientific expertise to investigators. Professional Organization Support: Leading efforts in collaboration with professional organizations and advocacy groups. Educational and Experience Requirements Requires an advanced terminal degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, etc.). For MSL roles, 0-3 years of relevant experience; for Sr. MSL, at least 3 years in Oncology/Hematology. Knowledge of clinical research, treatment guidelines, FDA regulations, and established relationships with KOLs are preferred. Skills and Abilities Excellent communication, presentation, and teaching skills. Strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel frequently. Strong scientific knowledge and relationship with KOLs in Oncology/Hematology. This is a field-based position requiring setting up a home office and traveling approximately 60% of the time, including international travel. #J-18808-Ljbffr
