Join us as on the BR journey as we create what’s next.About the RoleThe Visual Strategy Manager will support both the Creative and Visual Merchandising departments from a strategic perspective. They will own and support budget management of the Creative and Visual Merchandising teams, support vendor payments, manage key fleet information, ensure achievement of department goals and perform business analysis.What You/'ll DoSupport budget management for the Creative and Visual Merchandising teamsCreate initial budgets for projects by category to enable accurate trackingTrack overall spending by project relative to budgetEnsure team members are aware of and staying within budget constraintsTrack spending on Pcards monthly & communicate outReconcile monthly Pcard & PO reportingWork with Senior Manager to identify capitalizable expensesWork with vendors to establish appropriate payment methodologies, and ensure clear vendor understanding of the processWork with vendors and Sourcing to get vendors set up in our systemExecute payments for project work in partnership with Creative and Visual Merchandising team membersOwn and manage store lists and store information to help inform decision-making across teamsCreate and implement mechanisms to support updating of fleet informationRespond to ad hoc requests from the team regarding fleet characteristics, to drive their decision-makingHelp ensure achievement of departmental goalsHelp plan out team workload by creating timelines, establishing major project milestones, and tracking progress relative to milestonesDrive decision-making as needed to ensure progress toward milestonesFacilitate project status/update meetings across the departmentCreate team-wide calendars to give a view to overall workload and identify potential issues in advanceHindsight activities to inform planning for future initiativesSpecial projectsWork on special projects as needed and leverage department knowledge to support the Creative and Visual Merchandising teams.Who You Are5+ years of retail and visual experienceExtremely strong organization, communication, writing and presentation skillsStrong analytical skills - experience distilling relevant insights from large amounts of dataAbility to work independently, think creatively, be proactive and execute against tight timelinesProven ability to build strong working relationships and able to collaborate with all levels of managementAbility to travel with creative and visual teamsAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Adobe Creative Suite, and MAC OSBenefits at Banana RepublicMerchandise discount for our brands: 50% off regular-priced merchandise at Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic and Athleta, and 30% off at Outlet for all employees.One of the most competitive Paid Time Off plans in the industry.*Employees can take up to five “on the clock” hours each month to volunteer at a charity of their choice.*Extensive 401(k) plan with company matching for contributions up to four percent of an employee’s base pay.*Employee stock purchase plan.*Medical, dental, vision and life insurance.*See more of the benefits we offer.Salary Range: $114,900 - $152,200 USDEmployee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location.
