This role will be focused on creating short form video UGC social content.DescriptionOur client is seeking an Associate Creative Director Copywriter for a ~2 month contract position to focus on social-first content. The ideal candidate is someone who can work proactively and autonomously (in partnership with an AD) to concept, produce, and deliver work with a high attention to detail and under time constraints. This person will work across many projects at once, exploring what's possible, putting social-first concepts forward, and can quickly iterate based on feedback. They are able to deliver work that can convey complex technical concepts as well as simple, consumer-focused ideas.This person must be comfortable with a fluid schedule, working across multiple projects at once, and can partner with a cross-functional team of creatives, communications, content professionals, production partners, and various key stakeholders.You must have a high level of social-first craft (UGC storytelling, aware of trending social templates & elements.) The ideal candidate is a conceptual thinker, has a finger on the pulse of social trends and culture, and is a strategic and proactive problem solver.Required SkillsDemonstrated ability to turn complex subject matter into easy-to-understand and entertaining social contentConcept, write, edit, test and improve content that makes our brand come to life on our platforms.Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment with art directors, designers, editors, and motion graphics team as well as leadershipPresent ideas in a clear and focused way that builds consensus within the teamWork autonomously, as well as within teams, depending on the projectMinimum Qualifications6+ years of experience in an ad agency/in-house concepting and art directing ideas for brand and productExperience working on social across multiple platformsExperience translated complex topics into easy-to-understand and entertaining social conceptsExperience concepting and articulating creative decisionsExperience with self-initiated projectsExpert communication skillsExperience creating for various social formats (Stories, Reels, IG, FB, WhatsApp)Must be located in SF Bay, and able to come to the office as neededPreferred QualificationsEnergized by quick-turn, fast-paced environmentExperience in product storytellingDetailed-oriented with a thinker/maker mindsetExperience working collaboratively with cross-functional teamsExperience working in techPay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90.00 - $135.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
