Guided by the Chief Executive Officer, the Philanthropic Engagement Director is responsible for:Strategic fundraising activities that advance the mission/vision of Forum to Advance Minorities in Engineering Inc (FAME Inc.).Duties and ResponsibilitiesStrategic/Comprehensive resource development plan(s)Direct FAME Inc. advancement activitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive plansDevelop and communicate policy, ethics, and vital philanthropic engagement information to staff/boardReport and discuss strategic plans with CEO and management regularlyEvaluate and manage donor, partner, and stakeholder communication/recognitionRecommend policies, procedures, and guidelines for gift receipt (cash, stock, real estate, etc.)Grants Management/TrackingResearch, evaluate, and lead grant opportunities aligned with FAME's goalsMaintain an updated grants calendarEnsure timely application, reporting, and approval for fundingMaintain necessary approvals and standards for complianceIndividual GivingPlan and implement campaigns for individuals/alumniWork with CEO to set campaign goalsPartner with program staff on campaign messagingUtilize technology for campaign successMaintain accurate database informationManage staff or volunteers for mailings and projectsInvestor Relations and CommunicationsCoordinate meetings with investors, partners, and stakeholdersAttend public presentations and demonstrationsLead internal and external advancement eventsRepresent FAME at trade shows, fairs, and partner sitesAdministrativeBuild relationships with partnersProvide budget forecasts and monitor expendituresCoordinate evaluation and impact assessmentManage donor records in the databasePerform other duties as assignedPreferred QualificationsBA/BS degree with strong writing skills3-5 years in fund development or related field with proven relationship-buildingExperience in staff management and supervision preferredLeadership, motivation, and networking skillsOrganized, multi-taskerKnowledge of STEM and Delaware Education SystemTeam-oriented and personableSocial media and digital fundraising savvyProficiency in Microsoft Office and desktop publishingNote: Work is temporarily remote due to COVID-19. #J-18808-Ljbffr
