Job SummaryMedical Science Liaisons (MSLs) are trained healthcare professionals responsible for exchanging scientific and medical information between the Company and the medical community. They cultivate relationships with healthcare professionals and provide scientific support for Company products. MSLs must maintain clinical expertise and knowledge of medical treatment guidelines, communicate complex scientific concepts effectively, and are field-based members of the Parenteral Nutrition medical affairs team.Territory and CompensationThis position covers the Southeast territory (FL, GA, AL, MS, SC, NC, VA, WV, PR). Preference for candidates living near a major airport, ideally Atlanta, due to travel requirements.Base salary range: $150,000-160,000.Eligible for an annual bonus plan with a target of 14% of base salary.Eligible for a fleet vehicle.Final pay depends on experience, education, skills, and abilities.BenefitsOur comprehensive benefits include a 401(k) plan with company contributions, paid vacation, holidays, personal days, employee assistance program, and health coverage (medical, prescription drugs, dental, and vision).ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals to support the safe and effective use of Company products.Prepare and update educational materials and presentations for scientific exchange.Respond to unsolicited requests for off-label product information in compliance with regulations.Support healthcare professionals and investigators with publications and clinical trials related to Company products.Evaluate proposals for Investigator Initiated Trials for sponsorship.Provide training to internal staff as needed.Collaborate with Global departments on adverse events and product complaints.Job RequirementsAdvanced degree in a clinical or scientific discipline (e.g., Ph.D., MD, PharmD, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Registered Dieticians) with 5+ years of relevant experience.Knowledge of Parenteral Nutrition required.1+ years of experience as an MSL preferred; pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.Strong skills in scientific documentation, presentation, and communication.Experience with virtual platforms and electronic databases.Understanding of pharmaceutical development, clinical trials, US healthcare system, and regulatory standards.Willingness to travel 40-70%, including overnight stays; valid US driver’s license required.Additional InformationWe offer competitive salary and benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k) with company contribution, and wellness programs.Fresenius Kabi is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
