As a Strategic Account Executive at CircleCI, you are a bold, intellectually curious, and results-driven individual who understands our product in-depth and is passionate about presenting its value to customers. This is an impactful role where you will actively participate in introducing our solution to new engineering teams.You will be primarily responsible for driving the sales process for new logos and expanding within our largest accounts, which include some of the world's fastest-growing technology companies. Your role involves managing the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to qualification, negotiation, and closing—with decision-makers in Engineering departments across various verticals. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to influence the product roadmap based on market and customer requirements.What you’ll do:Develop strategies to identify, craft, and close sales opportunities within a strategic customer segment, focusing on generating new opportunities and expanding existing accounts.Utilize Challenger and MEDDPICC sales methodologies effectively.Use data and insights to overcome objections and craft compelling, value-based solutions for multiple stakeholders.Build, prioritize, and forecast your pipeline using platforms such as Hubspot, Outreach.io, Gainsight, 6sense, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn.Manage evaluations/POCs, contract negotiations, and customer relationships.Collaborate with internal teams, including solution engineers, customer success, and product managers.Maintain the highest integrity, as honesty with customers is a core value at CircleCI.What we’re looking for:4+ years of SaaS sales experience, selling technical products to large enterprise customers, with a proven track record of top performance.Curiosity about the DevOps ecosystem and familiarity with technical concepts and their business value.A great teammate who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and scaling environment.Resilience and inquisitiveness.Strong interpersonal (written and verbal) and organizational skills.A consistent record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas, with a curated account list of Fortune 100 or 500 companies across various industries.Experience in growing existing accounts and opening new ones.Experience selling to Engineering Leadership (e.g., CTO, VP of Engineering, DevOps Leaders).Experience closing 7-figure, multi-year contracts with Fortune companies.Bachelor's degree preferred.United States Base Pay Range: $133,000 — $166,000 USD.We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities throughout the application and employment process.
