This role is ideal for a high-performing sales leader with experience in early-growth companies, who is excited about building systems, teams, and strategies that fuel rapid expansion.As a head of sales, you will define and own the full sales vision - from structure and tools, to people and performance. You will also collaborate closely with company leadership as we transition existing sales processes, some of which are already implemented, while others are still under development.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Sales strategy and execution:Define the company's sales vision, revenue goals, and go-to market approach.Identify opportunities in the B2C/B2B space based on market trends and internal capabilities.Team building & leadership:Recruit, onboard, and lead the sales team (including SDRs, Qualification Agents, and Closers).Coach and manage performance through clear KPIs, playbooks, and continuous improvement cycles.CRM & Tech Stack Management:Select and implement sales tools and CRMs (e.g., HubSpot).Set up dashboards, reports, and tracking systems to monitor activity, deal flow, and performance.Revenue Forecasting & Reporting:Develop accurate forecasting models for short- and long-term sales performance.Present regular performance reports and improvement recommendations to executive leadership.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams for seamless handoffs and aligned messaging.Contribute to product positioning and feedback loops for continuous optimization.Training, Playbooks & Onboarding:Document best practices, objection handling, and talk tracks into structured onboarding materials.Standardize communication and ensure messaging consistency across the team.Ideal Candidate Profile:5+ years of proven sales leadership (B2B or B2C), ideally in the HVAC industry.3+ years of experience building or scaling teams in fast-paced or early-stage fortable taking ownership of evolving processes and making them efficient.Deep understanding of sales methodologies (SPIN, Challenger, MEDDIC, etc.).Hands-on experience with CRM platforms and reporting tools (HubSpot or Salesforce).High interest or background in emerging tech: AI, automation, or internal business apps.Excellent communication, coaching, and team development -depth knowledge of HVAC products, systems, and applications.This Role Is a Great Fit If You Are:Excited about building a high-performing sales organization from scratch.A proactive problem-solver who thrives in high-growth settings.Adept at balancing strategy with hands-on fortable collaborating with leadership while independently owning the sales pany DescriptionMBtek is a Canadian company focused on designing and distributing high-performance HVAC systems.
