With offices across North America, we combine the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the world’s leading professional services firm, Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC).A day in the lifeAs our Client Director on the Employee Health & Benefits team, you’ll be responsible for the overall strategic results on assigned accounts, as well as the strategic coordination of client marketing and servicing. Assigned to the largest and most complex clients within the agency, the Director will work closely with producers and clients to develop effective employee benefit strategies and programs. This role is responsible for retention and expansion of an assigned book of business and participation in the procurement of new business. This is accomplished through proactive client service, managing renewals/marketing, and business development initiatives.Our future colleagueWe’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.Understanding of the key challenges in employee benefit plans and current health care trends.Experience establishing strategy and direction for employee benefits programs and managing, implementing and renewing group health & welfare plans.Ability to coordinate multiple projects while ensuring timely and accurate client deliverables, with effective problem solving and resolution skills.Strong organizational, project planning and management, analytical, and multi-tasking skills.Excellent client relationship-building and presentation skills.Superior listening, verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite required.These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:10+ years industry experience with 3+ years of client management responsibilities preferred.State Life/Health insurance license required (can obtain after hire).We know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
