Come be part of our journey!Your Role:Tenable is seeking a world-class Technical Sales Experience Manager to lead strategic initiatives that empower our Sales Engineering Organization to achieve exceptional business outcomes. This role focuses on driving the readiness of our sales engineering team by developing high-impact technical content, tools, and strategies that enable sellers, sales engineers, and partners to excel. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and subject matter experts (SMEs), to ensure the sales engineering team is equipped with the latest product knowledge and resources. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.Your Opportunity:Strategize and lead readiness initiatives to enhance the capabilities of the sales engineering team, aligning efforts with Tenable’s global sales objectivesDevelop high-impact content, including demo scripts, technical presentations, and video sequences, to support new and existing Tenable productsCollaborate with SMEs to translate complex product updates and technical information into clear, actionable resources for sales engineers and partnersDrive adoption of readiness programs by partnering with the Sales Experience team to ensure seamless integration into customer-facing interactionsDesign and implement evaluation criteria to assess the effectiveness of training and readiness initiatives, ensuring measurable improvements in sales engineer performanceOptimize content delivery by leveraging modern platforms and formats, such as interactive e-learning and virtual training environments, to maximize engagement and retention. Implement, develop, and maintain course catalog and learning plans for technical talentEnsure content consistency, clarity, and alignment with Tenable’s brand and strategic goalsMentor and guide junior team members in content creation and readiness strategies to build a cohesive, high-performing teamWhat You'll Need7+ years of experience in security sales engineering, technical marketing, or technical curriculum development within the cybersecurity industryProven ability to develop and execute strategic readiness programs for sales engineering teamsStrong technical background with experience in vulnerability management, identity, cloud and other cybersecurity solutionsExceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver complex technical concepts to diverse audiencesProficiency in creating technical content, including demo scripts, presentations, and video-based trainingFamiliarity with modern learning platforms and content delivery systemsProgramming/Scripting: Experience coding in PythonAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with shifting prioritiesWillingness to travel up to 20%And Ideally:BS or MA degree in computer science, cybersecurity, educational technology, or a related fieldExperience leading cross-functional initiatives in a corporate environmentDemonstrated ability to simplify and deliver complex technical topics to non-technical audiencesFamiliarity with Tenable’s product portfolio or similar cybersecurity solutions#LI-Hybrid#LI-MF1We’re committed to promoting Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) at Tenable.
