Our 11 company values serve as the foundation for how we work and how our people grow.Job Summary:The Account Manager position at Inkhouse requires an individual who can think creatively, lead effectively and manage expectations honestly. We are looking for the ideal mix of strategic excellence and tactical capability, a person who can define a client’s message and develop an integrated plan to amplify it — rolling up their sleeves for hands-on work alongside an account team they are mentoring and managing.The ideal candidate should have strong media and influencer relationships, with a background in B2B and consumer technology public relations and experience leading integrated programs (including social (paid, organic) and digital marketing).Job Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day logistics and make assignments for teamDay-to-day client contact and main responder to clientShows good judgment on when to involve VP in day-to-day issuesHigh-level media outreach, building relationships with contacts at outlets ofutmost importance to the clientOwner of delivering documents to client on time and setting expectationsFirst drafts of strategic plans and memos including amplification ideasHigh-level byline/blog post writerRegularly identifies new opportunities for each clientApproves docs before they go to VPStays up-to-date on PR trends and client trendsUnderstands how to leverage social media for campaignsConstantly ensures that teams are conducting proactive outreachReviews speaking and awards abstracts and submissionsOversees/assists with analyst relations programRole model/champion of Inkhouse ValuesPromotes teamwork and mindset that team success is everyone’s successHelps people at levels both above and below to achieve team and client objectivesCommitment to employee developmentJob Requirements:B.S./B.A. public relations, marketing, communications or related field5–10 years of experience in PRExperience in B2B or consumer technologyExperience managing teams and staffExcellent writing, pitching and presentation skillsAbility to organize and manage multiple clients, teams and activitiesWhy Inkhouse?Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and innovative clientsCollaborative and supportive work environmentCompetitive salary and benefits packageProfessional growth and development opportunitiesSalary Range:$85,000-$110,000, commensurate with experienceLocations: This role is based in our San Francisco, C.A. and Waltham, M.A offices on a hybrid basis, in-office 2- 3 days per week.The sign at the front desk at our headquarters reads, “Work Hard & Be Nice to People.” At Inkhouse, culture is our business model.
