This includes researching issues, reconciling databases, and completing detailed calculations.Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key ResultsPeopleCreate a positive team experience.ClientReviews and reconciles client data downloads and identifies tax issues to research.Performs data downloads from client’s accounting system.Develops review schedules and checklist from client data downloads.Travels to client locations to gather and copy tax returns, invoices, purchase orders, and other documentation to use in the audit refund process.Responds to client inquiries and requests from state agencies.ValueAssists Manager in developing project workplans and scheduling associated project deliverables.Negotiates tax resolutions with state agencies.Drafts filings, such as petitions for redetermination, refund claims, and various other administrative replies.Performs other duties as assigned.Education And ExperienceBachelor’s degree or Master’s degree or equivalent in Accounting and/or Finance with two to four years audit or tax related puter SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.Certificates And LicensesValid driver’s license required.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesRequires limited supervisory responsibilities, including training employees, assigning work, and checking work for accuracy and completeness.Work EnvironmentStandard indoor working environment.Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.Occasional long periods of standing while copying.Position requires regular interaction with employees and clients both in person and via e-mail and dependent travel requirement: up to 10-15%.50+ hour standard workweek requirement.Equal Opportunity Employer: disability/veteran #J-18808-Ljbffr
