We operate with over 200 professionals nationwide, supporting our distinct purpose of helping clients prosper.The Client Service Associate is responsible for high-quality customer service and communication to private clients, Investment Consultants, custodians, and money managers. The Client Service Associate acts as a dedicated liaison between custodians and clients, building trusted relationships and delivering exceptional service. This role assumes responsibility for supporting the firm's Investment Consultants in account administration, operational tasks, client servicing, internal projects, and client-related projects. The Client Service Associate works on the clients' behalf towards achieving their investment goals, supporting our mission of helping clients prosper.Responsibilities:Direct responsibility to fully onboard new clients accurately and in a timely mannerOpen new brokerage accounts for various client types including, but not limited to, individual, joint, retirement, trust, incorporated and non-incorporated accountsProcess and facilitate various types of money movements including wires, ACHs, journals, DTC, ACAT and non-ACAT transfersMaintain organization of client records and documents in the firm’s CRM and document management systemFollow internal policies and procedures accurately as it relates to money movement verification, CRM documentation, client tasks, and compliance requestsDemonstrate ability to problem solve and critically think through the handling of operational tasks and client service-based projectsConsistent and proactive communication to clients and colleagues in a timely manner for status updatesCompletion of subscription documents for Private Equity and Hedge Fund investments, with ongoing maintenance for capital call processing and additional requestsWork with outside asset managers for initial account set up and ongoing account maintenanceCollaborate with different internal departments on firm or client related projectsSupport the Director of Client Services, Investment Consultants, and Private Clients with ad-hoc projectsEducation, Professional & Technical ExperienceBachelor’s Degree required with a preferred concentration in Business or relatedOne (1) to three (3) Years of Financial Industry ExperienceProficiency in Microsoft Suite and AdobePrevious CRM experiencePrevious custodial portal experience, particularly Charles Schwab and/or Fidelity, is a plusUnderstands different types of money movements transactionsUnderstands basics of different brokerage account types and client typesUnderstand basics of brokerage account processes such as RMDs, 401(k) rollovers, etc.Broad knowledge of different types of securities such as stocks, mutual funds and bondsBroad knowledge of asset managersBasic knowledge of alternative investment vehicles [Private Equity and Hedge Funds]Team OrientedDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and organizationThoughtful ability to establish rapport and build relationshipsAdaptability when priorities shift and able to work independentlySound judgment and problem-solving skillsInnovative, curious, and enthusiastic.Ability to cultivate and develop inclusive and collaborative working relationships to support a sense of belonging.Passionate about working in an organization that values and promotes inclusion and belonging.This role may travel up to 5% of the time for training and or business/events.This role offers a hybrid work model with three days in one of our professional office environments and two days remotely.Physical Job ExpectationsThe physical job expectations described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:Must be able to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours.Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
