Financials Account Executive - CMTE Key Accounts Join to apply for the Financials Account Executive - CMTE Key Accounts role at Workday. Overview We are seeking a Financials Account Executive to drive business development with prospective key accounts, focusing on cloud-based Financials, ERP, and related solutions for the Office of the CFO. A successful candidate will leverage consultative selling and executive-level engagement to position Workday as a preferred financial software solution. About The Role As a Financials Account Executive, you will partner in business development, selling to prospective key accounts. Your experience in selling cloud-based Financial applications and products to net new enterprise accounts will be critical. Drive a complex sale in a team selling environment with strong project management skills; capable of capitalizing on strategic accounts as a self-starter in a dynamic environment. Initiate and run sales cycles, maximizing Workday Financial products including Accounting, Planning, and Expense Management. Lead the sales process, negotiations, customer agreements, and closing plans with prospective enterprise accounts. Use consultative selling skills to establish long-standing relationships with prospective customers at the executive level. Leverage experience within Financials and ERP to drive demand for Cloud Financial Management and position Workday as a viable alternative ERP Financial solution. Coordinate and collaborate with extended team members and sales/services resources to progress opportunities. About You Basic Qualifications 8+ years of professional experience in software sales, including experience in a team selling environment. 5+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud based ERP, Financial, or Planning solutions to C-levels within enterprise accounts. 5+ years experience working within finance and/or with finance executives. Other Qualifications Deep financial product skills and confidence in developing relationships by conducting business-driven discussions with CFOs and their finance teams. Experience in business transformations in medium and large enterprises, preferably across multiple industries. Proven ability in owning and supporting complex sales cycles from start to finish. Demonstrated success with transformational and consultative selling, strategy and negotiations. Ability to quickly understand business challenges and create solutions; interest in co-creating desired business solutions. Strong teamwork and a continuous learning mindset; ability to share best practices for the success of the team. Strong organization and communication skills to drive urgency in closing new business; maintain accurate customer, pipeline, and forecast data. Workday Pay Transparency Statement The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and additional locations vary by work location. As part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
