Base pay range$19.00/hr - $21.00/hrSummary of PositionAssists the Shop Manager in driving the business to achieve maximum sales, productivity and profit goals through customer service, operational excellence, leadership, communication, and talent development while supporting the Quay vision and brand. This role is predominantly on the sales floor providing service, interacting with customers and associates. This is an hourly, non-exempt role.Principal AccountabilitiesSupervisory - 50%Maintains a consistent sales floor presence, interacting with customers and associates to ensure the best service is provided through effective floor supervisionCoaching and developing sales associates to ensure high-level of performance and productivityAbility to foster a diverse team environment and demonstrating a flexible leadership style when interacting and managing employees with varying skills and responsibilitiesSales and Service - 50%Ensure personal sales and productivity goals are metDemonstrate the ability to style a diverse group of customers with eyewear and accessoriesPrioritize and multi-task various in-store responsibilities, while being attentive to customersExhibit a professional and fashion-forward image while representing the brandContribute to the upkeep of the shop’s brand image by maintaining visual presentation standardsKeep current on fashion, market trends and product knowledgeProvide merchandise and customer feedback to shop managementMinimizing loss by following all loss prevention proceduresMeet assigned deadlines when completing shop tasks and projectsComply with all shop maintenance, cleanliness and safety standardsRequired Skills & ExperienceHigh School graduate or equivalentMinimum 1 year of experience in fashion sales and supervisory leadershipDeliver a personalized customer experiencePerform basic math functions with the ability to use a calculatorComputer Skills (MS Word, Excel and Outlook preferred)Flexibility to work nights, weekends, store openings and closings according to the needs of the businessAbility to work effectively and cooperatively with coworkersAbility to adapt and multi-task in a fast-changing environmentAbility to communicate, both written and verbal, and have strong listening skillsTravel Requirements0% travelPhysical RequirementsThis position is based in a retail shop environment. Requires standing and walking up to 8 hours per shiftFlexibility to work nights, weekends, shop openings and closings according to the needs of the business for an average of 32-40 hours per weekRequires stooping and kneeling to process and place merchandise as well as reaching and pulling to obtain or stock merchandise from storageMay be required to climb ladder or stepstool in order to stock and/or acquire merchandise for saleRequired to lift items weighing 5 to 25 lbs regularly.
