Proactively work with relationship management team in the prior two years leading up to a renewal to ensure Empower is well positioned to retain the relationship. Own sales strategy from start to finish and including execution of successful RFP, finals presentation, site visit, and contract negotiation.Location for this position is highly flexible.What you will doOwn the retention sales process from start to finishWork with leadership and relationship management teams to identify upcoming renewalsIdentify at risk clients and develop a strategy to retainAttend committee meetings with Relationship Managers in advance of renewal or RFP to understand client needs, objectives, and sensitivitiesEstablish and execute clear sales strategy to ensure retentionNavigate procurement and collaborate with consultants and advisors to ensure plan retentionPosition Empower and Great-West Investments product offerings to enhance participant outcomesUtilize all internal resources to ensure client satisfaction and renewalLead RFP responseLead finalist presentation including team assembly, preparation, and deliveryLead contract negotiations and involve leadership and relationship management as appropriateDocument all activity and strategy in SalesforceKeep senior management informed of all at risk situations, and involve leadership when appropriateWhat you will bringBachelor's degree preferably in marketing or finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience10+ years' experience in recordkeeping businessSales experience in the recordkeeping industryFINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations or ability to obtain within established timelinesFINRA Fingerprinting upon hireWhat will set you apartExperience serving governmental defined contribution plansProven sales executive who can lead teams and consistently produce resultsStrategic thinker that understands all aspects of clients' needs as relevant to Empower's offeringsWhat we offer youWe offer an array of diverse and inclusive benefits regardless of where you are in your career.
