Oversee sales operations, talent development, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver results and maintain competitiveness in the aerospace spares and distribution market.ResponsibilitiesLeadership and supervisory role for the sales and support team 40%Develop weekly/monthly/annual and seasonal sales targets/plans for key stakeholders, examine growth opportunities, enable improvement, develop product mix, and take responsibility for department performance against sales/AOP targets.Set objectives, targets and success criteria for the area in accordance with management; conduct annual reviews, qualification assessments, skills development, onboard and train newcomers.Implement the regional sales plan and strategies to enhance revenue generation 40%Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, product management, planning, customer service and operations to create product and regional intelligence and ensure alignment to drive sales.Contribute to product and service improvements based on customer/market feedback.Build strong relationships with external OEM partners and airline/operator customers 15%Attend sales workshops, seminars, shows and host sales events.Additional Responsibilities 5%Understand global and regional market requirements and be the voice of the customer.Ensure functional effectiveness to meet defined KPIs.Keep the direct report informed of status and any critical risks/concerns.Your Boarding PassQualified Experience and Training:EducationBachelors Degree in Business or a related disciplineExperienceMinimum 10 years in sales in a commercial airline environmentAt least 5 years of experience leading cross-functional teamsPreferredCommercial background with aviation business understanding in spares support, supply chain management, maintenance, and support obligations from aircraft purchase agreementsTravel Required:15% Domestic and InternationalCitizenship:Authorized to work in the US, able to work in US without current or future need for visa sponsorshipClearance:NoneQualified Skills:Comply with company mission, values and Quality Management proceduresEthics & Compliance guidelinesSales techniques; prospecting, pipeline management, effective closingStrong communication and stakeholder managementAbility to balance varying interests and build cross-functional relationshipsCommunication Skills:Strong written and verbal EnglishTechnical Systems Proficiency:Proficient in SAP and ERP systemsProficient in Google Suites and Microsoft OfficeOrganizational information:This position will report directly to HO Commercial and Material ManagementDirect Reports:Is this a people manager?
