We value diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences; recognize that inclusive actions lead to equitable outcomes; and support and encourage all team members to share their ideas to help Waymo better serve the communities in which we operate.You WillManage the path to launch testing operations in multiple new cities within a regionLead the ongoing execution of validation requirements by vendors for driving operationsCoordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to meet critical timelines and exceed Waymo new market launch standards to achieve operational successDeep dive existing standards and processes to identify defects or improvement opportunitiesStructure launch milestones and dependencies, assign roles and responsibilities, and establish communication channelsProactively identify and reduce business-critical risks and dependenciesCompile, manage, and report on validation metrics for the regionYou Have7+ years of experience in a combination of project management, operations management or program management at a high-growth tech company .Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomesStrong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsAnalytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive continuous improvement in operationsProven ability manage budgets and resources, and establish and maintain relationships with internal & external vendorsWe PreferFamiliarity with launching operations with new infrastructure in a fast paced environmentFamiliarity with quality control processes and documentation is a plusExperience in risk and change management.The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
