OverviewRetail Sales Department Manager - FT at Boscov's Department Store, LLC. We are looking for experienced Retail Sales Department Managers to lead a team and drive customer-focused selling in a fast-paced environment. Boscov's is a chain of full-service department stores serving the needs of families with a broad selection of quality merchandise in stores and online.Job ResponsibilitiesSupervise and participate in merchandising and setup of the selling floor to maximize sales and customer service.Manage activities of the sales and stock functions.Train, coach, and develop associates by leading by example.Provide in-depth product knowledge and deliver excellent customer service.Accurately and efficiently complete transactions and paperwork while adhering to company policies and procedures.Maintain awareness of advertised merchandise and ensure ads are set and signed properly.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.Prior retail sales management experience.Strong selling and/or customer service experience preferred.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to learn computer systems, POS register, and interpret reports.Available to work varied days and hours, including evenings and weekends.BenefitsStarting salary of $38,000 (based on experience).Comprehensive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision.Short-term and long-term disability—voluntary.Life insurance (company paid).401(k) with company match.Weekly pay and paid vacation.Liberal employee discount.Work where people love to shop!
