Final pay will be discussed with your recruiter.ResponsibilitiesUnder the general direction of the Regional Manager, the Senior Industrial Hygienist (Supervisor) performs the full range of first level supervisory industrial hygiene work in the Cal/OSHA program.Has full oversight and responsibility of staff, ranging from Junior to Associate Industrial Hygienists, and Cal/OSHA Enforcement Inspectors and office support staff, engaged in the administration and implementation of the Cal/OSHA program in an assigned DIR-DOSH Compliance District Office.Responsible for training, upward mobility, and maintaining discipline of employees under their supervision.Ensures that the office functions and operates daily in accordance with DIR-DOSH directives, rules, policy and procedures and that staff promotes DIR-DOSH Mission, Vision, Values, and Goals.Conducts, including but not limited to, specialized health inspections, health-related accident/illness investigations, and other assignments related to health, chemical, physical and biological hazards in workplaces across the State.Working conditions / LocationThis position is located in Enforcement Santa Barbara District Office at 411 E. Canon Perdido, Santa Barbara, CA 93101.
