They’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer with a passion for hands-on design and prototyping – someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to be at the heart of next-gen space system development.What You’ll Be DoingDesigning and testing spacecraft structures, mechanisms, and solar arraysIntegrating avionics and harnessing systems with the electrical engineering teamRunning mechanical and thermal analysis on critical componentsDeveloping hardware for both flight systems and ground supportLeading design reviews, managing BOMs, and sourcing materials suited for space environmentsShaping high-level spacecraft architecture and improving in-house testing facilitiesAbout You:3+ years in spacecraft mechanical design and integrationBS or MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineeringStrong CAD experience (NX preferred) and comfort with GD&TBackground in composites or metallic structures, with solid prototyping experienceComfortable with structural and thermal analysis (FEA and Thermal Desktop/NX Nastran a plus)Nice to Have (But Not Dealbreakers):Experience with environmental testing (vibe, TVAC)Machine shop and hands-on fabrication skillsPython or other scripting abilities for automationDon’t meet every requirement?
