Lead Install Technician

OverviewJoin to apply for the Lead Install Technician role at TEKsystems.Location: Denver, CO (onsite).ResponsibilitiesLead installation work on large commercial projects across the Denver metro area.Work with access control and CCTV systems; program and troubleshoot with minimal supervision.Possess the ability to move into a supervisor role and lead a team.Travel to job sites using own vehicle for the first 12 months; roles set up as a 12-month contract-to-hire with potential conversion after demonstrating performance.Maintain exceptional customer focus and work under pressure to meet customer needs and expectations.Perform install tasks including reading blueprints/drawings, cable routing, and using a range of hand and power tools.Read and interpret blueprints, perform basic calculations, and ensure safe, compliant job execution.Provide daily updates to the project manager and supervisor; communicate effectively with leads, PMs, and specialists.Lead and coordinate installation crews as required; ensure quality and safety standards are met.QualificationsSolid technical skills with experience in fire alarm systems and/or electronic security systems.Solid programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and find solutions.Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; comfortable using various tools and reading blueprints; solid math skills.Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Advanced computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other relevant applications.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to travel locally to job sites; minimal overnight travel may be required.Employment DetailsPay range: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour.Location: Denver, CO; fully onsite.Contract type: 12-month CTB/CTH with potential conversion after 6 months, based on performance.BenefitsMedical, dental & visionCritical Illness, Accident, and Hospital coverage401(k) retirement plan with pre-tax and Roth optionsLife Insurance (voluntary for employee and dependents)Short- and long-term disabilityHealth Spending Account (HSA)Transportation benefitsEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid time off (PTO, vacation, sick leave)Equal opportunity employer information and additional company context can be found in the original job posting.
