This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about pushing the boundaries of power electronics design for space and aerospace applications, and who thrive in a fast-paced, startup-style environment.About the RoleIn this position, you will lead the development of power electronics circuits and systems from initial concept through to production and operational support. You will focus on two key product domains:Optimized point-of-load converters for RF and digital modules (typically 1W–50W).Standalone DC-DC converter modules (typically 20W–500W).Your responsibilities will span a wide range of design areas, including:Isolated and non-isolated DC-DC convertersMaximum power point tracking (MPPT) solar convertersMagnetic component design and analysisSystem-level power management and distributionSwitching and linear regulatorsFilters and stability analysisAs a principal-level engineer, you’ll oversee projects end-to-end: setting product roadmaps, generating block diagrams, performing part selection, schematic design, layout and routing, analysis, manufacturing coordination, testing, and qualification. You’ll also serve as a technical mentor, shaping best practices and supporting the development of junior engineers.This role includes presenting technical designs to executive leadership and customers, as well as participating in proposal-writing efforts.
