This role includes construction administration and project management for a variety of institutional projects. You will play a key role in delivering technically sound, code-compliant, and efficient designs from concept through construction.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign HVAC systems and support overall MEP engineering efforts.Conduct load calculations, site surveys, and field inspections.Prepare detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and design documentation.Review and coordinate designs with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., NYS Energy Code, Mechanical Code, Building Code, NFPA).Manage projects from design development through construction administration.QualificationsMinimum 4 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, with a focus on HVAC and/or plumbing systems.Proficient in AutoCAD with at least 4 years of design experience.Strong knowledge of relevant building codes and standards.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Please apply to this posting for immediate consideration!Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.86 - $57.68/hr.RequirementsEligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
