The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, computer vision and deep learning, with a passion for developing advanced algorithms for video processing and analysis. This role focuses on creating and optimizing algorithms for tasks such as object detection, classification, and multi-object tracking in streaming environments.This role is fully remote, though candidates local to Los Angeles or willing to relocate to the area are encouraged to apply!Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement computer vision algorithms to solve complex image and video processing tasks.Develop and optimize machine learning models, including neural networks, for feature extraction and model training.Utilize AI and deep learning techniques to improve accuracy and efficiency of visual data analysis.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision solutions into existing products.Conduct data analysis to evaluate algorithm performance and make data-driven improvements.Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision, AI, and related technologies.RequiredBS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field5+ years of experience as a Machine Learning EngineerProven experience in computer vision, AI, and algorithm developmentStrong programming skills in Python and C++Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, and OpenCVDeep understanding of image processing techniques and neural networksExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environmentPreferredMS/PhD with a thesis in the fields of Computer Vision / Deep LearningExperience with LLM Models for Video understandingExperience with deep temporal models (LSTM, GRU)Experience with generative models (GANs, VAEs)Experience with C++Working knowledge with real time applications developmentExperience with deep learning algorithms for image or video processingExperience with deep learning for 3D problemsAwareness of MLOps and Agile principlesBenefits100% Remote WorkCompetitive Base ($120-200k depending on experience)Equity and 401K PlanMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceUnlimited PTOEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
