Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$69,000.00/yr - $74,000.00/yr* This company is specifically seeking candidates with U.S. military experience (Electro-Mechanical background required) *Korn Ferry Military has partnered with our client on their search for a Field Service Engineer in Washington DC. This is a higher-travel role (approximately 20% regional, overnight.)Electrical/Electronics background required. Use/knowledge of multimeters & basic IT knowledge required. (Understand IP addresses, servers, routers, switches.)Strong Mechanical knowledge highly beneficial, as a multi-craft Ramsey Test will be administered!Compensation: $69,000-74,000 + Overtime (pays at 1.5x hourly rate); Vehicle Allowance + $5,000 sign-on bonusTravel: 20% overnight regional travel.What You Will Do:Be an integral part of company’s customer-focused business model - Strong Customer Service Skills will be requiredDeliver exemplary customer service to customers in the fieldBecome proficient in servicing all company systems while following field service proceduresTroubleshoot and repair commercial system installationsCoordinate with on-site contractors and facility managers to ensure proper system installationFocus on lifecycle product service (troubleshooting, repair, training end-users, and upgrades)Work independently from your home office to accommodate needs and priorities of customersEducation and Work ExperienceSkilled Technician with an Electrical or Electronic background. Electronic fundamentals are a MUST.2 or 4 year college degree, technical school degree, or related experienceUse/knowledge of multimeters & basic IT knowledge required.
