Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Defense / Tech We are seeking a skilled and driven Manufacturing Engineer to take ownership of key product components from concept through to full-scale production. This position offers an opportunity to play a central role in a fast-growing, innovative technology company, reporting directly to the Head of Engineering. You must be a US citizen and able to obtain US top secret security clearance for this role. This will be onsite in El Segundo, CA, full time. Qualifications 3–8 years of experience in high-paced engineering or manufacturing environments (senior-level experience preferred) Proven ability in developing, designing, and refining tooling to enhance manufacturing efficiency Experience leading the introduction of new products and scaling manufacturing processes Strong track record of taking ownership and driving initiatives independently Proficiency in drafting clear, detailed work instructions Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks, NX, or similar Experience using MES/ERP platforms (e.g., Warpdrive, Manufacturo, SAP) Responsibilities Lead the design and development of hardware and production work cells, with a focus on manufacturability and cost efficiency Create and implement tooling and equipment for production Design and run experiments to qualify and validate manufacturing processes Develop and maintain detailed documentation including build instructions, testing procedures, safety protocols, and manufacturing BOMs Contribute to design reviews with a focus on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles Manage and communicate production plans and schedules across teams Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve manufacturing challenges and non-conformance issues Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to teammates and colleagues Job Details Location: El Segundo, CA (onsite) Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Engineering, Manufacturing, and Other Industries: Defense and Space Manufacturing, Robotics Engineering, and Robot Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
