Explore some of our signature architecture projects.What You'll Be Challenged To DoAs a Project Manager, you will be a motivated client facing project leader responsible for project scope, schedule and budget. This role requires a positive attitude to mentor and develop young architects working on projects for governmental agencies seeking our best ideas to improve the public realm. In this connection, you will be charged with producing high quality work in a fast-paced and intellectually engaging environment.We are seeking to make a long-term professional investment in you. Once hired, our studio leader will meet with you to review your professional goals and establish a career track to allow for continued growth within our the capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:Client first focus with the aim of deepening our relationshipsServe as primary contact with clientLead project presentationsProject scope, schedule and budgetProduce a high-quality work productOversee and mentor architectural design staffResearch and become familiar with client requirements including program, guidelines, and standardsPerform comprehensive code and product researchLead projects from initial survey, design through constructionLead the development of design concepts and presentations that clearly express the project goals and ideasLead development of technical details including coordination with engineering disciplinesCoordinate work of all disciplinesSupervise preparation of project specifications, including preparation of Front-End DocumentsSupervise review shop drawings and construction progressLead and/or assist with the preparation of proposals responding to RFQ’s, RFP’s and other solicitations and client presentationsEducation | Experience:What You Will Bring To Our FirmBachelor’s degree in ArchitectureLicensed architect in State of Massachusetts10 years’ experience in Architectural Project ManagementAbility to obtain other Architectural licenses in other New England statesA strong resume of Massachusetts public-sector project experiencesSpecific experience with public building types such as transportation (Regional Transit Authorities, MBTA, and Massport) and Department of Public Works facilitiesFamiliarity with software such as Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft OfficeEffective writer, communicator, detail-oriented designerProfessional public speaking skillsAble to work independently and/or collaboratively with staff and clients on multiple projectsIn depth knowledge of MA State Building Code, MAAB regulations, International Building Codes and standards such as NFPA, ADA, LEED, and related standardsWhat We Prefer You BringWork with Massachusetts clients such as MA public school districts, MA School Building Authority, City of Boston including BPDA, Public Facilities Dept, Property Management Dept., Public Schools DepartmentMA MCPPOCompensationThe salary range for this role is $140,000 - $170,000.
