You will collaborate with fellow robotics, system software, and clinical engineers on solving some of the most challenging problems in medical technology today. By utilizing first-principle thinking, a growth mindset, and a desire to improve the state of medical technology, you will develop products that address growing endoluminal clinical needs.We are looking for a highly motivated, curious, and independent-thinking individual who is eager to take ownership and to contribute to revolutionizing the world of medical robotics while helping make Noah a great place to work.A Day In The Life Of Our Robotics and Controls EngineerLead the design of control algorithmsLead the design and implementation of motion control algorithms in C++Understand and develop risk assessments for medical roboticsDevelop product specifications, systems & software requirements, and test methodsEvaluate algorithms in both inanimate and animal modelsCollaborate with other engineers and internal customers to develop features that meet clinical needsAbout YouMS plus 4 years of experience in the medical robotics industry, or PhD plus 2 years, is preferred.Prior experience in the commercialization of medical robots is a plus.Thorough theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in the kinematics and control of serial manipulatorsExperience in developing C++ in an industry setting. Experience in Python, and Matlab is a plus.Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to concisely present highly technical information to a non-technical audience.Ability to work independently with the determination to get through challenging problems. $128,000 - $175,000 a year Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position's total compensation package.
