Associate Technical Designer - Denim

Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$65,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yrOur client, a women's apparel brand, is seeking an Associate Technical Designer - Denim, to join their growing team in NYC!Responsibilities:Assist in developing fit strategies for each season, ensuring consistency across denim styles.Collaborate with overseas technical teams, attend virtual fittings, provide technical recommendations, and finalize grading.Participate in fit sessions, working closely with Design to align technical execution with creative vision.Create and maintain tech packs, tracking fit progression from development through production.Evaluate fit samples, providing detailed fit comments and recommendations.Work with Design and Production teams to execute cost-engineered styles that meet quality and budget requirements.Qualifications:3+ years of experience in technical design with patternmaking knowledge.Bachelor’s degree in Apparel, Technical Design, Patternmaking, or a related field.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Flex PLM.Experience with CLO3D is highly preferred but not required.Denim experience is strongly preferred; knowledge of wovens and cut-and-sew knits is a plus.Strong communication skills, particularly in working with overseas teams.Highly organized, accountable, and detail-oriented.Ability to make pattern corrections, grade, mark, construct, and fit garments.Experience in special sizes is a plus.$65,000-$85,000 commensurate of experience.Full time in office.Please submit a resume for consideration.Seniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionArt/Creative, Design, and ManufacturingIndustriesRetail Apparel and Fashion, Retail, and Apparel Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
