An Install Lead I provides a customizable experience with specialty skills.ResponsibilitiesStrong ability to multitask and collaborate with othersDemonstrate strong project management skillsAdvanced knowledge of service parts and proceduresAdvanced bending and application of all standard aluminum applications (Flat wraps, BM, etc.)Advanced finish carpentry (Step trim and Wide Trim)Ability to install these product types offered by RbA (L-Flange, BM, Insert, New Construction (DB, GL, CS, PW, Patio Door))Advanced assessment and problem-solving abilityAdvanced finish carpentry (step trim and wide trim)Assess jobsite for hazards prior to commencement of work. Address hazards as neededCollaborates with other installers throughout the installation project to maximize efficiencies, proper tear outs and installation techniquesBuilds and sustains positive homeowner relationsAdheres to proper safety techniques and proceduresAdheres to Renewal safety programs and training requirementsProvides consistent, flawless first-time window and door installationMaintains company vehicle in accordance with Fleet PolicyDemonstrates responsible attendance and punctualityProvides direction, training, coaching and mentoring of Install with the goal of advancing their skill setsOther duties as assignedGeneral warehouse supportProvide support for minor service calls as neededAdheres to Renewal safety programs and training requirementsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent experienceValid Driver’s License with ability to pass a fleet checkBasic construction techniques; good knowledge of basic construction and building materials; knowledge of terminology of the construction industryState Contractors license preferredBroad knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations and safe work practicesSkills and CompetenciesDemonstrated ability to confidently handle confrontation/conflicts using a tactful and diplomatic approach; Ability to maintain perspective under demanding conditionsDemonstrates responsible attendance and punctualityOrganizational skills for managing work schedules, job priorities and stock levelsBasic math skillsInitiative; ability to work independently.
