OverviewPosition: Director of Engineering Services. Based in California (remote with travel to client sites and company offices as needed). We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Engineering Services to lead our technical teams and drive the development of cutting-edge solutions.If you are a visionary engineering leader with extensive experience in network design and a passion for delivering excellence, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact.ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee the Engineering Services team in designing, deploying, and supporting advanced IT solutions using Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, and Extreme Networks technologies.Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, scalability, and service delivery for clients.Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and develop tailored network designs prioritizing performance, security, and reliability.Ensure all solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations.Drive professional development and training for the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.Maintain and build relationships with key technology partners, including Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, and Extreme Networks, to ensure the company stays ahead of industry trends.Qualifications8+ years of experience in IT engineering, with a focus on network design and implementation.Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, and Extreme Networks technologies, including switches, routers, wireless networks, and security solutions.Proven ability to design and implement complex network infrastructures.Strong leadership skills with experience managing technical teams.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within California as needed.PreferredRelevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Aruba Certified Design Professional (ACDP), Fortinet NSE, or Extreme Networks Certified Professional (ENCP).Experience managing vendor partnerships and staying updated on industry advancements.Familiarity with structured cabling and physical layer technologies.Knowledge of public sector technology solutions, including education and government environments.SkillsStrong strategic planning and project management capabilities.Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.Ability to mentor and guide engineering teams toward achieving company mitment to maintaining high standards in service delivery and client satisfaction.Adept at building relationships with clients, vendors, and internal pensation & BenefitsJob Type: Full-time pensation: Competitive base salary with performance-based incentives.Benefits:Comprehensive medical and dental insurance.Robust retirement plan.Bonuses for achieving strategic goals and certifications.Opportunities for professional growth and leadership development.Join GigaKOM as the Director of Engineering Services!
