Position We are seeking a seasoned and visionary PMIC Architect to define and drive the power architecture for our next- products across client and enterprise segments. The ideal candidate will lead high-level specification, architecture planning, and collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver optimized, high-efficiency power management solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Define High-Level PMIC Specifications: Develop system-level PMIC specifications including efficiency optimization strategies, control logic, register definitions, and custom feature enablement. System Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders (System, Hardware, and SoC teams) to define and iterate on the most optimal and scalable power architecture. Vendor Engagement: Own the interface with third-party PMIC vendors, ensuring the architecture is implemented to specification and aligns with vendor capabilities. Promote commonality across designs where feasible. Roadmap Ownership: Lead and evolve the power architecture roadmap to support both current and future client and enterprise product lines. Test Planning: Define validation and test objectives, and collaborate with internal and external test teams to execute against them effectively. Leadership Communication: Provide regular technical insights and evaluations to leadership, influencing product and business strategy through deep architectural understanding. Qualifications REQUIRED: Minimum of 10 years of experience in mixed-signal and power electronics development. Proven experience in PMIC design, validation, and product integration. Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, with specialization in VLSI, power electronics, or mixed-signal design. Strong understanding of power efficiency trade-offs, analog/digital partitioning, and low-power architecture techniques. SKILLS: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across engineering and business functions. Compensation & Benefits An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to education, qualifications, certifications, and experience; skills, ability, knowledge of the job; performance, contribution and results; geographic location; shift; internal and external equity; and business needs. The salary range is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may pay more or less than the posted range. This range is applicable for jobs in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York. This range may be modified in the future. You may be eligible to participate in Sandisk/'s Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan and potentially in the Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, depending on role and performance.
