OverviewKHS&S, one of the largest specialty wall and ceiling contractors in the U.S., is looking for a Senior Project Engineer with 2-3 years' experience in the construction industry. This position offers immense potential for career development, allowing you to expand your skills and take on increasing responsibility and compensation.ResponsibilitiesWork with project teams to ensure projects are within budget and completed to the satisfaction of our customer.Review contracts, plans, and specifications, fully understand scope, terms and conditions, and project schedule.Verify or retake-off estimates to prepare a working budget for the project based on value engineering, actual construction methods, actual quantities, and estimated production rates specific to the project.Obtain or verify pricing of materials, write and execute subcontracts, purchase agreements and purchase orders based on specific quantities, scope, and schedule.Generate and track requests for submittals, RFI’s, etc. Ensure responses are received and processed completely.Prepare project schedule using an approved scheduling tool.Prepare safety plan and implement safety program onsite with the Safety Manager and/or Site Safety lead.Prepare and price EWA’s and scope changes. Submit change orders to customers and follow-up through receipt of executed documents.Prepare budget and submit to Project Executive/Operations Manager for approval.
