2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.JOB DESCRIPTION: Amrize Cement Inc. seeks a Senior Maintenance Engineer in Seattle, Washington to develop and implement technical and mechanical improvements for the facility. Primary responsibilities will include:Monitor reliability-based systems including preventative maintenance systems, lubrication, vibration analysis, and condition monitoring.Create preventative maintenance routines (PMRs) and bills of materials (BOMs) for new equipment (including mobile equipment).Manage the preventive/predictive maintenance programs (Inspection, Vibration, Oil Analysis, NDT, thermography, etc.) to ensure optimum equipment availability.Develop and implement the DSCQP inspection program.Analyze and eliminate repetitive problems through root cause analysis, Pareto analysis, statistical review, FMEA and similar techniques.Support and guide sustainable improvements in MTBF and NAI of major equipment.Facilitate continuous improvement processes around equipment availability and reliability.Coordinate SAP system operations in the area of preventative maintenance routine (PMR) optimization.Provide technical support, training, and development for maintenance functions with specific focus on entrenching reliability concepts within the maintenance group.Develop area budget, and accountable for results based on defined KPIs.Lead and facilitate the Mechanical Maintenance area, including management of core maintenance systems and research/recommend new PM procedures based on new technology.Provide daily instructions to the maintenance lead hand and has a field presence to ensure safety and effectiveness.Ensure the operating efficiency of all major pieces of plant equipment (from raw materials & fuels receiving, through raw grinding, fuel preparation, pyro processing and cement grindingLead the plant's predictive maintenance and equipment health program in partnership with the maintenance team.Support the development of best practices and processes to ensure plant activities are optimized and costs are best in class.Contribute to the development and application of plant policies and procedures.Develop goals and objectives to implement actions, track performance and continuously look for opportunities for improvement.Lead the development of the plant's capital plan and implement a majority of the plant's capital projects.This position involves up to 10% domestic/national travel.REQUIREMENTS: The position of Senior Maintenance Engineer requires a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or a related engineering field, plus 5 years of progressively-responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, as a Mechanical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or in a related heavy-industrial/engineering position.The position also requires 5 years of professional experience working in a maintenance capacity in the heavy-industrial sector.SALARY: $138,840 per year [Standard Company benefits apply]Candidates who are interested in this position should select Apply now.Senior Maintenance EngineerSeniority levelSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesStaffing and RecruitingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at RemoteWorker US by 2xSign in to set job alerts for “Senior Maintenance Engineer” roles.Seattle, WA $107,757 -
