You will be successful because you already know how to translate an architect's sketches and documents into realized 2D/3D models and images and can research artistic and/or technical issues when they arise. Your work ethic and dedication to problem-solving combined with our commitment to collaboration and mentoring, makes Gensler the perfect place to further your career.What You Will DoParticipate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and productionCollaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectivesProduce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawingsUtilize hand rendering techniques to communicate design conceptsYour QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Architecture, or equivalent5+ years of related project experienceProficiency in modeling using 2D/3D software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Octane, 3dViz, 3ds MAX, and/or Rhino utilizing V-RayProficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or SketchUpDemonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices required; Portfolios should include at least 1 project with this particular focus, and candidates should be prepared to talk to this in their interview, especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard , Fitwell and /or Net Zero Building certification.Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and building codesState licensure and LEED accreditation a plusKnowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and parametric design software, including Grasshopper, a plusFor consideration, please submit cover letter, resume and portfolio in PDF format.The base salary will be estimated between $85,000 - $105,000 annually plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.Life at GenslerAt Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
