OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Electrical Liaison Engineer to serve as the bridge between design engineering, manufacturing, and quality control for custom low-voltage power distribution equipment. This hands-on role ensures electrical designs are manufacturable and optimized for production, while supporting real-time problem-solving on the factory floor. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills to collaborate across multiple departments.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver on-site technical support to manufacturing teams during the assembly of complex electrical systems and power distribution equipment.Evaluate engineering designs for manufacturability, providing actionable feedback to design teams.Develop, document, and optimize point-to-point wiring and build processes.Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in real time on the production floor.Support quality inspections and resolve non-conformance issues with cross-functional teams.Collaborate with engineering to refine design standards and improve manufacturability.Create and maintain accurate technical documentation including wiring diagrams, test procedures, and work instructions.Train production staff on proper assembly methods and quality benchmarks.Assist in the rollout and support of design software such as AutoCAD Electrical.Serve as a key liaison between remote engineering resources and onsite operations.Participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency and product quality.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.5+ years of experience with power distribution systems or low-voltage equipment manufacturing.Strong working knowledge of NEC, UL, and NEMA standards (especially UL 891 and UL 1558).Experience with switchgear, switchboards, control systems, and related low-voltage assemblies.Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical or similar design tools.Practical troubleshooting expertise for electrical and control systems.Familiarity with shop floor processes and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with custom-engineered or engineer-to-order electrical products.Exposure to data center or mission-critical power systems.Knowledge of PLCs, control circuits, or industrial automation.Background in implementing or improving manufacturing documentation and workflows.Familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies.Prior experience as a liaison or in a cross-functional engineering/manufacturing support role.What We OfferCompetitive compensation and performance-based incentivesComprehensive health and retirement benefitsOpportunities for career advancement in a growing organizationSupportive and collaborative work environmentProfessional development and training programsPotential for equity participationSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering and ManufacturingIndustriesEngines and Power Transmission Equipment Manufacturing, Electric Power Generation, and Electric Power Transmission, Control, and Distribution #J-18808-Ljbffr
