Through training, teamwork, and exposure to challenging technical work, let Leidos show you how to accelerate your career path.Leidos has an exciting opening for a TS/SCI Automated Test Engineer to play a critical role in the design, engineering, development, and deployment of software supporting DIA-National Media Exploitation Center (NMEC) under our 10-year DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP) contract. You will be part of a mission-focused, solutions-oriented, and adaptive team that values innovation, collaboration, and professional development. Your role will involve testing and deploying DoD-wide applications developed by Leidos. While the primary work location is onsite at Bethesda, MD, we offer a flexible schedule with occasional remote tasks, depending on client requirements.You will work closely with Test Engineers, User Services, Software Engineers, Systems Engineers, and Architects, supporting tasks such as:Designing test strategies, plans, and cases from requirements and design documents, emphasizing manual testing.Automating test cases using Selenium WebDriver.Estimating effort for writing and executing test cases and tracking progress.Authoring and reviewing test cases with stakeholders.Executing functional, smoke, regression, and integration tests.Reporting, tracking, validating, and closing defects.Recording and reporting test results.Participating in daily scrum meetings.Providing input on testability during system design sessions.Tracking metrics on testing activities and supporting risk management assessments.Using metrics for project management to identify areas for improvement.Developing innovative testing strategies for efficiency.Qualifications include:BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience with 8+ years in software development, release management, or operations.Active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Git, API testing, and CI pipelines.Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile-Scrum methodology.Experience in drafting test plans and using test management tools.Strong collaboration skills across disciplines and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication of complex technical concepts.Additional preferred skills:Familiarity with manual and automated testing techniques.Experience with big data applications, Elastic Search, Kibana, and GitFlow.Technical degrees or certifications, including SAFe certification.#NMECDTPCome break things (in a good way) and build smarter solutions.
