For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team.What You Will Do:Provide technical support to prospects, customers, and the sales team throughout the entire sales cycleProvide expertise in Vercel's platform, solutions, and services and how they can be applied to solve business needsDevelop and present demonstrations of the Vercel solutionsManage and run proofs of concept, guiding measures of success and towards meaningful outcomesRespond to security documents, coordinating with other internal specialist teamsServe as an interface to Product and Engineering teams, representing Voice of the CustomerAbout You:You focus on learning, teaching, collaboration, mentorship, and growthYou have a passion for helping people develop an accurate mental model of how our technology works and have the ability to quickly build a rapport and become a trusted advisorYou are able to weave together discussions around business benefits, strategic value, and technical efficacy with the ability to envision, create and develop custom demosYou understand how to manage a project, work to deadlines, and prioritize between competing demandsYou possess strong technical skills, ideally from software development experience or previous pre-sales experienceYou're aware of the broader technical ecosystems, including Headless CMS, Media, payments, eCommerce, Analytics, etc.You're experienced with web performance, Lighthouse, or Core Web VitalsYou understand best practices in network architecture and securityBonus If You:Deployed Next.js applications to a production environmentWorked on teams self-hosting Next.js on their Kubernetes (k8s) clusterEarned Cloud Solutions Architect CertificationsEngaged with platform security & privacy regulatory standards like PCI DSS, HIPAA, and SOC-2Attained an Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fieldsCompetitive compensation package, including equity.Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.Flexible Time Off.We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as neededThe San Francisco, CA OTE pay range for this role is $172,000.00 - $303,000.00. This OTE range is an estimate. Actual OTE will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation.
