Join us and discover what the best work of your career could look like.ResponsibilitiesComplete Building Services (CBS) is seeking a full-time Stationary Engineer (SE) for a large government facility in Washington, DC. The SE operates and maintains the facility, performs tours of areas and equipment, conducts PM service calls, diagnostics, and performs incidental, minor, and major repairs. The SE must possess a Class 3 Steam Engineer license (DC).The hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. Salary is $49.96 per spect, test, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems and associated equipmentLog equipment as assignedMaintain plant and equipment in sound operating conditionProvide guidance and support to subcontractors performing repairsCoordinate with building managers and client representatives to ensure satisfactionDocument work performed on trouble tickets or work ordersOperate and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and related equipmentPerform refrigerant recovery and recyclingOperate Building Energy Management System (EMS) and building controlsInstall and remove systems, hardware, and equipment as neededPerform other duties as assigned and be available on-site during scheduled hours and emergenciesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMust pass a government background checkValid stationary engineer's license (Class 3 Steam Engineer - DC)Completion of a 4-year HVAC apprenticeship or equivalent training programAt least 7 years of relevant experienceUniversal CFC/EPA certification (proof required)Minimum 4 years of HVAC system experienceValid driver's licenseAbility to lift up to 60 poundsCapable of ascending ladders up to 30 feet highEOE, including disability/veterans #J-18808-Ljbffr
