Our team of over 3,000 employees across more than 20 countries is dedicated to solving problems and delivering solutions that foster growth, guided by our core values of honesty, fairness, and respect.Responsibilities:Provide technical support at client sites for new and existing systems.Lead installation and commissioning of equipment in the field.Support mechanical and electrical subcontractors during equipment installation.Assist & troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems remotely.Participate in periodic On-Call duties.Develop and implement controls upgrades for existing systems.Create troubleshooting guides, work instructions, and training materials.Lead training sessions and oversee troubleshooting and repairs of control systems.Collaborate with other teams to improve systems and processes.Work with the Test Engineering Group for factory acceptance testing.Support design and assembly of conveyor equipment as needed.Manage small projects independently.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.Minimum of two years’ experience supporting client sites, troubleshooting mechanical/electrical equipment, and configuring PLCs/HMIs.Strong electrical and mechanical skills with willingness to perform field work.Ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.Knowledge of controls engineering concepts and practices.Experience with manufacturer data sheets and practical application.Proficiency in configuring PLCs, HMIs, networks, cameras, and VFDs.Creative problem-solving skills.Proficient with remote working tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to build effective relationships with teams, customers, and suppliers.Self-managed and team-oriented.Willingness to travel (20%-65%), and work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders.Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell Studio 5000 is preferred.Preferred Skills:Experience with Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TWINCAT, MATLAB/Simulink.Knowledge of VFDs such as PowerFlex 525, Siemens G120, SEW Movimots.Experience with HMIs like FT View, WinCC, Indusoft, Wonderware, Cimplicity.Familiarity with Fieldbuses and protocols such as Devicenet, EtherNet/IP, Profibus, Profinet, CANOpen, EtherCAT, TCP/IP.Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and AutoDesk Inventor.Knowledge of PDM or PLM systems like Solidworks PDM or Windchill.Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP.Understanding of NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 79, UL508A tralox offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, disability insurance, paid time off, 401K, tuition reimbursement, and voluntary benefits.
