They're not super picky on what software exp you have - they just want good estimators with bridge experience.Key Responsibilities:Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor work.Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.Develop quantity takeoffs and pricing for all scopes of work.Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing.Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and post-bid reviews as needed.Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies within the estimate.Required Qualifications:5+ years of experience in estimating for heavy civil or infrastructure projects.Preferred Qualifications:Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., HCSS HeavyBid, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar).Experience with public agency bidding (e.g., MDOT, municipal, federal).BenefitsCompetitive compensation (DOE)100% company paid Health benefitsESOP - become an employee owner!Annual bonusPaid time offCompany vehicle or vehicle allowance + gas cardCompany cell phone..and more!Email Your Resume In Word To:Looking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
