Project Architect/Technical Lead

PROJECT ARCHITECT / TECHNICAL LEAD Summary As the Project Architect / Technical Lead, you are responsible for leading the technical team through the Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents phases of projects. Your deliverables must graphically and technically illustrate the project scope through well-coordinated drawings and specifications, effectively communicating the design intent to clients, authorities, and builders. *Senior Project Architect / Senior Technical Lead: Proven ability to lead larger/complex projects, mentor junior staff, and provide technical support and review. Support performance reviews, participate in interviews, design competitions, and project pursuits. Description Business Development / Marketing Participate in project pursuits, review BIM requirements, attend industry events. Project Set-Up Collaborate on consultant selection, project schedules, and staffing. Oversee initial project setup within BIM, monitor progress and milestones. Programming/Entitlement to Jurisdictional Approvals Develop major system BODs during Schematic Design, considering constructability and code compliance. Lead technical coordination, mentorship, QA/QC, and ensure project meets standards and client expectations. Participate in client meetings and budget processes, review cost estimates, and integrate value engineering. Coordinate with jurisdictions for approvals. Bidding / Construction Administration / Close-Out Support Construction Administrator during bidding and construction phases. Administrative Contribute to standards and efficiencies, mentor junior team members. Knowledge and Skills Experience in architecture and technical disciplines, understanding of engineering and codes. Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, MS Office. Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills. Requirements 8+ years’ experience as Project Architect / Technical Lead.
