Senior Facilities Building Engineer

Overview POSITION SNAPSHOT: Our client is a contract manufacturer seeking to add a Senior Facilities Building Engineer for their team. This hands-on leader ensures the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of a cutting-edge manufacturing facility. The role oversees a small team and manages contractors, driving infrastructure reliability and uptime across complex systems such as HVAC, process chillers, compressed air, and cranes. The position requires autonomy, technical expertise, and the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. This on-site role emphasizes problem-solving, collaboration, and continuous improvement to sustain 24/7 manufacturing operations. Relocation assistance may be a consideration. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and oversee equipment installation to support reliable facility operations. Manage CMMS data and workflows to track work orders, preventive maintenance, and asset history. Lead a small engineering team and coordinate with contractors to execute maintenance projects safely and efficiently. Ensure adherence to EH&S requirements and industry standards such as OSHA, ISO 14001, and AS9100D. Maintain infrastructure reliability across complex systems including HVAC, process chillers, compressed air, and cranes. Prioritize uptime and operational readiness in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Qualifications / Requirements U.S. Citizens with the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance. Experience leading maintenance in a manufacturing facility with hands-on technical expertise. Strong knowledge of facility infrastructure systems (HVAC, chillers, compressed air, cranes) and CMMS usage. Commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
